Autonomouscars use a variety of techniques to detect their surroundings. Advanced controlsystems interpret sensory information to identify appropriate navigation paths,as well as obstacles and relevant signage.Autonomous cars must have controlsystems that are capable of analyzing sensory data to distinguish betweendifferent cars on the road….

在科技发展的驱动下,交通(transportation)正在被重新定义。如果说200年前的第二次工业革命时蒸汽机写下了人类与工业产物的在交通领域的第一次合作,那如今的自动驾驶技术(autonomous technology)者让我们与产品之间有了全新的交流模式。随着无人驾驶技术的不断进步,全新的交通模式已经从图纸上走向我们的生活中。从Google到Tesla ,从深圳到上海, 在无人驾驶车内释放双手的同时,我们的思考也重新被展开——Autonomous Vehicle/Transportation和环境之间的关系正在改变。
课程目的
1.了解建筑与技术的关系,探索技术在设计领域的运用。思考作为非核心研究人员的设计者如何统筹协调设计与科技的关系。
2,重新思考车(autonomous vehicle)和建筑之间的联系与边界。将移动的车作为静止的建筑的延续,从而探讨静止与运动,绝对与相对之间的界限。
3思考新技术对城市的影响,思考自动化驾驶技术在城市,社会,人文角度方面的延伸与影响。

LECTURER导师介绍
Liu is an up-coming architect who has 5 years undergraduate architectural knowledge and one year advanced architectural study @ UCLA. Attributed to two competitiions and the internship experience, He placed more concern on construction and details of building in his undergraduate time. In Ozel studio of his graduate period, he contacted high-tech and interdisciplinary architecture, including human-robot interactive design, UI interface design, augmented reality and virtual reality. For these experience, he has the chance to be familiar with many softwares.课程安排
